Quality Policy

Avicenna – Batumi Medical University adopts the Quality Policy, which, in addition to the quality assurance standards, defines internal and external quality assurance mechanisms, guidelines, and procedures in the direction of teaching, research, and higher education institution management. This is done in order to fulfil its vision through the strategic objectives and tasks outlined in the Strategic Plan. The Policy also establishes the quality assurance cycle, how frequently procedures are conducted, who is involved, what tools are used, and how findings are to be responded to. It establishes the legal frameworks required for quality assurance processes and procedures to be transparent, objective, and engaging with stakeholders.

In this regard, Avicenna pledges to:

Create a culture of excellence;

  • Encourage the active participation of stakeholders, both internal and external, in the institution’s processes for continuous improvement;
  • Encourage the growth of professionals;
  • Create and carry out higher education initiatives focused on the needs of students;
  • Provide a welcoming atmosphere for learning.

  • Figuring out whether resources are required and managing them well;
  • Participation of all university community members in quality assurance procedures on an active basis;
