Internationalization Policy

By internationalising learning, teaching, and research, the internationalisation policy’s primary goals are to establish institutional recognition and include the university into the global medical education landscape.

The primary objective of internationalisation policy is to enable the internationalisation of education, research, and learning through the development and implementation of cooperative programmes, extracurricular academic activities, and the planning, development, and implementation of international staff and student mobility.

The following are the goals of internationalisation policy:

  • to make it easier for university faculty and students to integrate into professional development programmes, qualification improvement courses, and educational exchange programmes so that higher medical education can address regional medical needs as well as the demands of the global healthcare system;
  • to invite and include foreign academics, instructors, and experts in their fields in the process of organising, developing, and executing programmes within the parameters of an agreement and memorandum of international cooperation between institutions;
  • to organise, design, and carry out scientific research projects, international conferences, summer schools, international forums, and other academic activities;
  • to plan and conduct conferences, workshops, and meetings on a regular basis in non-distant, hybrid, and distant formats with academic and administrative staff from partner institutions in order to exchange experiences with good clinical practices and to spread information about new developments and advancements in the medical field.
  • to strengthen the University’s international recognition and exposure by promoting the University’s membership process in prestigious international medical associations and professional organisations.
